I hate medical hardware, every company only makes their product brand compatible, forget cheap open software or customization ,it is a black box niche that scares amateur enterprises by requiring too many layers of expertise ( physics, electronics and software) for product development.
I`m using it for one yer in emergency and I enjoy it.
